Bischof & Klein is a €500m+ p.a. turnover Global Flexible Packaging Group employing c2700 people. Its UK site, in Telford, employs c120 people and is involved in the manufacture of blown mono and co-extruded films, printed film and heavy-duty sacks, for a blue-chip customer base in consumer and industrial markets, supporting international brands and household names.
The company are now seeking to strengthen their sales team with the recruitment of an experienced Sales Executive who will focus on the further penetration and growth of their business across the UK, providing effective technical solutions to customer packaging requirements.
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, this challenging role will combine account management with identifying and acquiring new accounts with profitable growth potential. This will require effective communication to establish multi-level, cross functional relationships, whilst maintaining high level of support and service to ensure all targets are met. There is an existing customer portfolio to manage however, the business is prepared to tailor the portfolio to complement the strengths, talent, and experience of the successful candidate.
Ideally Degree qualified, candidates will have proven sales/account management/business development experience, gained in the packaging industry or associated supply chain e.g., polymers, chemicals or machinery, or a similarly demanding high-volume environment e.g., FMCG or food. Flexible packaging experience, whilst advantageous, is not essential. Sound commercial and financial acumen is required, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to network and develop relationships at all levels.
