As a Regional Ambassador supporting 4 plants – Wakefield and Milton Keynes in the UK, plus Denmark and Sweden, this high-profile role carries responsibility for translating Ball Beverage Packaging Europe’s overall Manufacturing and Lean Enterprise Strategy into a regional Hub deployment plan. With an already strong Lean Six Sigma culture, (Shingo & Zero loss, TPM, Hoshin, Kaizen etc.), your brief will be to manage and continually drive the regional Economic Value Added (EVA) program and coordinate, identify and prioritise targeted areas of waste reduction and improvement projects across the region.
You will engage, facilitate, train and guide plant Leadership Teams by facilitating value stream mapping, business process re-design, kaizen, continuous improvement, lean thinking, cycle time reduction, etc. to simplify and perfect targeted areas for Value Capture. Whilst this is an office-based role, at either Milton Keynes or Wakefield, up to 50% of your time will be spent working across the four plants.
Ideally educated to Degree level in a technical/engineering discipline, candidates will have a proven track record in CI leadership, in-part gained in a progressive, fast moving, packaging/manufacturing environment. This experience will be supported by a strong Lean and Six Sigma toolbox (theoretical and practical) and demonstrable success in delivering improvements across all business areas. Six Sigma Black Belt certification would be advantageous. You will have a passion for coaching, mentoring and training and attention to detail with a proactive and forward-thinking approach.
