Sika AG, a CHF 8 billion t/o p.a. Swiss Market Index (SMI) listed company, is a globally active speciality chemicals company offering a comprehensive range of products including waterproofing systems, sealing, bonding and speciality mortars etc. across many construction and associated sectors. The business employs over 1000 people in the UK across 4 legal entities: Sika,  Everbuild Building Products, Incorez and Enewall. Based at the company’s Leeds Office and manufacturing facility, a Customer Services Manager is required to bring inspirational leadership to the customer services department.

The successful candidate will have the ability to challenge the status quo, identify areas of system and process improvement and further develop the team in order to provide customers with exceptional levels of service and proactive communication.

Reporting to the Head of Customer Experience UK, you will be responsible for the management, motivation and training of a Customer Service Team of 17, through 3 direct reports, ensuring that they become the ‘voice of the customer’ when interfacing with sales and internal supply chain teams to ensure that customer expectations are managed at all times. This will involve the effective co-ordination of all functional processes from initial enquiry, pricing and processing of orders, to final despatch and invoicing, in order  to minimise non-value activities.

Candidates must be experienced Customer Services Managers, (Membership of the Institute of Customer Services is strongly preferred), with the ability to develop teams to understand all aspects of the supply chain and the impact it has on customer care. This experience will ideally have been gained in a fast-moving, multiple SKU, manufacturing environment. Applicants must demonstrate well developed leadership and communication skills, with a commitment to developing a team in a dynamic and demanding environment.
