This is an excellent opportunity to join the company’s Industrial team within the UK, focusing on the sale of plastic film manufactured predominantly at the company’s sites in Scotland.   The business has been supported by significant investment which allows them to manufacture innovative films used in sectors such as Chemicals, Agricultural, Construction etc, supporting an impressive customer base.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, and with a focus on business development, this challenging role will include responsibility for:

  • Developing a sales strategy and converting into profitable new business, both with existing accounts and new customers.
  • Delivering added value to customers providing innovative packaging solutions and customised advice and support.
  • Developing a designated portfolio of Clients and Prospects across the UK.
  • Developing close working relationships with internal colleagues at the 2 manufacturing plants in Scotland.
  • To drive sustainability of the Division’s future product portfolio by anticipating market trends and requirements.

Candidates will ideally be Degree qualified with proven technical sales/business development experience gained in a business to business, industrial product manufacturing environment.  We are also interested to hear from internally focused commercial/sales personnel who would like to move into a more proactive, field-based role.

With a sound technical/engineering mindset, commercial and financial acumen is required, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to network and develop relationships at all levels.
