Packaging Manufacturer – Multi-site, flexible location – £Competitive Package
Reporting to the UK Managing Director and forming part of the senior leadership team, this expanding business is part of a major international Group.
This is a high-profile role within the business and one of vital importance in further developing a robust HR function across the sites, to support its objectives in terms of substantial growth and profitability, and further acquisitions. With responsibility for a small HR team, the role requires a combination of strategic HR development and practical support across 4 UK sites employing 600 people. Responsibilities will cover HR Strategy, Training & Development, Recruitment and Succession Planning, Employment Law, Policy & Procedure, Reward and Recognition and Engagement.
Applicants must have Proven HR Director/Manager experience within a multi-site manufacturing organisation and the following.
- Relevant Degree in Business, HR or Commerce etc.
- Fellow CIPD (or working towards).
In depthknowledge of current UK and EU employment law.
- Demonstrable experience in managing TUPE, redundancy and complex HR projects.
- Experience of current recruitment, training & development best practice
- Commercial acumen
