Our Client is an industry-leading, consultative packaging solutions supplier of corrugated and other industrial packaging formats, to a blue-chip customer base across automotive, pharma, medical device, engineering and electronics sectors. Offering expert advice and bespoke design, manufacturing and test services, the company has ISTA, ASTM and Amazon Package test facilities, including high and low temperature testing, humidity testing and climatic conditioning chambers.

As a result of significant and ongoing investment in its test capability, a Design & Test Laboratory Manager is now required to manage a small team to deliver a “best in class” customer packaging design and testing service. Additionally, he/she will work with and accompany the Sales Team in order to enhance strategy to promote and market the packaging test laboratory capability – thereby, increasing packaging test revenue.

Applicants will preferably have an engineering/scientific degree with experience gained in a packaging/distribution/logistics test laboratory environment, operating to ISO 17025, ISTA, ASTM or similar standards. With experience, or evidence of progressing into management, applicants should have strong communication ability and commercial acumen, with the skills to directly engage with clients and prospects.
